The study tour is a part of the Environmental Protection Export Initiative and is funded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety, and Consumer Protection.
The conference will take place on February 21, 2023, and aims to facilitate networking between actors from Germany and Azerbaijan to develop solutions for efficient water supply and wastewater treatment in western Azerbaijan. Key topics include addressing environmental issues of transboundary rivers such as the Kura, Araz, and Okchuchay, improving water quality, and exploring water treatment for both drinking and agricultural purposes.
Target participants are companies in the water and wastewater sectors, environmental experts, research institutes, and professionals from related fields like agriculture, construction, and mining.
Benefits of attending the conference include
